Pastor
Amos Hairston, who goes by Ned (he/him), is gay, agender, and a Christian, having been baptized in 1998. In 2003, he rejected the lies of the ex-gay movement with a renewed understanding of the love of God based on the scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit. He has since worked to help people marginalized by the traditions and teachings of their congregations to understand how much God loves them. He believes that God is Love, and love means love.
Ned is bilingual, speaking English and signing ASL. He has an AA in Humanities from MJC and a Certificate in Jewish Context and Culture from Israel Bible Center.

Future Leadership
Church of Christ in Tarpey Village is a new congregation. As membership grows, we will elect Elders and appoint Deacons in accordance with scripture and our bylaws.
Are you interested in leading part of the service on Sunday?
